Serial number on a jazz bass ?

Jon has told you about the serial number.

Don't get Fender Fenders confused with Squier Fenders either.

Once you know the serial number you should be able to find out the year here

Then you could try Googling:

"reverb.com Fender Jazz Bass (year)"

and you will see a range of used prices.

That serial number doesn't seem to fit the standard formula. You should contact Fender directly. Here is the link-
