This particular machine ends up on Fixya a couple of times every week!
Some Miele machines have a lever to adjust the grind coarseness. Page 27 of the manual below. I would also give it a good clean beforehand to check there is nothing in there that shouldn't be.
Well it is a drain blockage code. Check the pipe. I had a blockage caused by the stalk off an apple and an accumulation of lint!

Sounds as if the grinder and or the coffee chute is plugged with grounds, this can happen when using a very fine grind and /or a very oily bean. Sometimes the grinder can be cleared when taken all apart and cleaned with a tooth brush - but this would require a service tech for the most part - have to take quite a bit apart to do this
Its likely to be the brushes in the Grinder motor. These are replaceable but Miele does not sell them as a spare part. You may be able top fabricate your own if your technically minded and experienced and can disassemble the machine. Otherwise grinder needs to be replaced. Regards
I suspect your type of coffee beans is too oily. Try another type of coffee. Otherwise the grind settings is probably too fine. Change it two steps at the time.
If all this doesn't work, you are due for a full cleaning machine at the Miele service centre. Or you have a leak inside (tubes or the brew unit drive). Many causes are possible according to the description you posted.
If the machine does not drain you usually have drain blockage. Clean the drain well at the bottom of the tub. remove and clean filter and assembly parts. Make sure that the drain hose at the back of the dishwasher is not kinked.
Several Miele dishwasher uses a pressure switch to determine the water level. A defective pressure switch may prevent the machine from starting. If this model uses a pressure switch, the switch will be located in the drain line. When a pressure switch is defective the machine should return an error code. Here a picture of the pressure switch:
If that does not fix the problem the pump located under the bottom panel must be tested.
It must be trying to drain out water but the pump mechanism might be rubbing due to faulty bearing. Need full model number before I can give you more details to look for. Is this happening right at the beginning of the wash cycle?
Sounds like a piece of broken glass or hard fruit pit stuck in the garburator. Remove the botom rack and disassemble the eniter assembly located below the bottom rack. Keep track of the order of the parts until you reach the stainless steel garburator blade. If you are not mechanicaly inclined, take video of the dissasembley to help you put things back together. You will probably find a foreign object by the time you reach the blade. Continue disassembling the assembly below the garburator to ensure that the drainage ports are not obstructed. Consider re-assembling without the garburator blade to avoid recurring problems. Substitute Garburator blade with routine disassembley and cleaning every 3-6 months. Sadly thats the best way to overcome the failure prone Garburator mechanism. When its time to buy a new D/W, buy one with a filter instead of a garburator. I recommend Miele and recomend against all Whirlpool brands (Maytag, Jennair, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Whirlpool, WhiteWestinghouse, etc.)
When Garburators Jam, you risk overheating that can melt the overpriced circuit board or overheat the motor. Either problem means discarding the dishwasher becasue the repair cost would be too high. The Garburator is a disgusting idea anyway. Instad of allowing food particles to sit at the bttom, the sme particels are minced and sprayed over the dishes that you are trying to clean.
