4 times error shows that any fan is not working as TV has 4 fans inside. You need to check what fan is not working.

I have the same problem with my unit. I've been removing the bulb and just replace it back and unit will work again. I probably need to vacuum or check the fan out too.

I have a Sony KDS-50A2000 50 in. HDTV Television. I just replace the lamp because I got the message that appeared on the TV. Lamp needs to be repaced. I replace with a Sony lamp and now TV cut off after 2 to 3 hours off watching the TV. Any Idea what is going on with this TV
