I have had the same thing happen. It was working fine and then all of a sudden it shut off and when I was able to get it back on again there was no display on both screens but there was sound and I can make and recieve calls.

the outside screen or small display screen on the front of the phone does not recognize when it is shut so is froze on the T-Mobile screen that is normally has when it is opened not closed

Same here. Is it fixable or no? Or are we screwed!! )=

Yeahh it happened to me too. my friend said it's because the phone was in cold temperature and that'd it would become normal but it'll take "a while"

who knows how long that is.

forgot mine in the car when it was cold outside. Now, the display only comes on when i warm it up with a blow dryer and then only stays on for a couple minutes each time. The buttons and other functions still work, just can't see the screen

Bring it to a technician, and let him know what the new battery and charger did to your normally fine phone. They should be responsible for repairing your phone. No easy fix as described above. Let me know how it works.

RAZR V3 - New battery w/full charge drains in 1hr of standby

take out a battery and check if there is any red paper dots on the back of the phone. If you do have a dot that is at least partially red, that means that your phone got wet and it can not be fixed.

Motorola RAZR V3 No signal (bars)

I had the same problem with my phone- i got a cheap generic battery to replace the old one (which wasn't holding a charge for a full day, at that) and then i lost all signal, basically. I tried what scm_pa said he did - charged my old battery up, with the phone off, till the charge was complete- turned the phone on, and voila, reception!

Razr v3

If your charger is not an orginal Motorola v3 then you have a problem. Make sure its original. You may want to check your battery capacity, if thats below 3v then you need to get it back to standard capacity.
