SOURCE: kodak c613 will not switch on put in new batteries had this camera since xmas

What helped my camra to get working is to make sure you have the right battery.
the kodak easyshare takes only AA/lithium,AA/ni-mi,kaa2hr,AA/zr6 and AA/lr6 and akline too. It does not work for durecell batteries.Hope I helped!

SOURCE: camera wont turn on batteries are new

I had the same problem that the green light turned on then the red one, even though the camera batteries where new.

I found a solution for this problem, hope it works for all as it did for me.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ysolwv

The link shows the images of the steps you need to follow to fix this problem.
This problem actually is from low batteries or low voltage in the camera, but its not because the batteries are dead, it is because the batteries don't have a good contact with the metal conductors in the camera.

In the images you can see that the camera has a plastic cover for the battery contacts, so the way to fix it is to remove that plastic cover with a small screwdriver, and pop in the new batteries.

With that it should fix the problem. Hope it works.

My rebel t3i wont turn on!!!

I just bought a T3i and only used it 2 days of shooting. On third day, it's not turning on and it's 80 degree's. So not cold weather. Batteries are fully charged. When I put batter in and turn the switch on, the red light comes on for only a second and then nothing! Other times the red light won't even come on, period. As I said, I've only had it 3 days and it's dead....

My xtc 100 wont turn on

There is nothing you as the end user can do to fix this camera. The reason they do not sell parts or repair information to the public. Either replace it or send it in to the manufacturer for exchange.

Had the same problem, replaced the regular Alkaline batteries with NiMH rechargeables and it works. Must be something in the in camera battery settings. It still wont work with regular alkalines. Go Figure.

Camera wont turn on.

Main power led to on/off switch is crushed and not enough power gets through.
you have disassemble the camera.
I would think first before tring this.
Remove 3 screws on bottom, 1 in battery compartment, and 1 at very top of usb flap (look good).
Now slide the side piece starting at the usb flap then apply pressure to top and away from unit.
now look for 1 silver and three black screws (facing back and front, look good).
See the big red wire leading to main on off switch if it crushed thats the problem.
I replaced it with a longer piece of wire.
Remember to replace battery door first if it fell off during process.
*TEST NOTE: You can place batteries in and place a penny across the bottom to test before you put it back together.
