The screen is locked at the word android at start up

1. Try holding down the volume increase button and then hold down the power button until the tablet starts.

2. Look for a very small hole on the side of the tablet, usually near one or more of the input jacks, that you can put a paper clip in to push a reset button. If you have one of these (Check the manual too), try a hard reset by holding down the button under the paper clip hole and then the power button until the Android screen appears.

Get rid of dead robot

try clearing your cache partition, you can get to the android recovery with your buttons.
1. Turn tablet off. You may need to use two hands in this process to press and hold buttons properly.


2. Turn on the tablet with power button, wait a full 2 seconds from the time the tablet starts showing the red Motorola logo, then press and hold the down Volume key. (you should not hold down the power button after it turns on and logo appears)


3. "Android Recovery" will appear on top of screen if timing is done correctly. Release volume button. (if you continue to press volume down at that message, the message will cycle through "RSD, Fastboot, and back to Android Recovery. Make sure message states Android Recovery before you go to next step). If stuck at a RSD protocol or Fast boot screen, reboot the tablet by holding power button then pressing the volume up).


4. While screen states "Android Recovery", Press volume up button, the screen will say "Entering Android recovery mode" and a few seconds later an Android robot graphic will appear alone on the screen. Release buttons.


5. Hold down power button and then press the volume up key together to see the Android Recovery screen menu selections.


6. Use the volume buttons to move up and down through selection in this menu.


7. Using the volume down button, scroll down to "Wipe data/factory reset"


8. Tap Power hard key to select option.


9. Scroll down to select "Yes, delete all user data".


10. Tap the power button to select. Wiping and formatting data will take a few minutes.


11. You will return back to the Android recovery screen menu.


12. Tap the Power button to "Reboot system now" which will power-cycle tablet and eventually power back on to the Initial Set-up / Welcome screen present when you first turned on your tablet.

My trio stealth- 8 powers on but won't boot up and the reset button just keeps powering it off what can I do to fix my tablet?????

One of the common solutions from YouTube videos short of more drastic measures would be to hold the power button for 10 seconds.

The below videos may help or will if you must resort to a hard reset - that will wipe all files and restore to original.

Button power stuck

  1. Please check the warranty of your tablet and bring it to the nearest service center if possible because it need an expert in changing parts specially ultra tin tablet like yours because it is very sensitive

M9100 boot ans stuck on android screen

Try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds.
Debugging mode has to be engaged by running ADB, but becomes quite complex and device specific. Plus it can stop your tablet from working all together, so try this first.
