IF (not 1F) is same as Lockout.
Ignition lock out, means that the heater had three separate attempts to fire up, to have ignition. After three attempts, with no ignition of main burners, you will get the fault code. You clear this by cycling the power off and then back on. You may need to do this 2 or 3 times. Some times air is in the main gas supply line?
Or, Because we are human, we tend to make mistakes, and may overlook the obvious... is the gas valve in the on position? , and is the gas shut off valve on the supply line, open?
if the obvious is all good, then continue with your troubleshooting, next up would be to check the hot surface igniter.
you should also check for clogged main burner orifices.
especially the one on the most left, closest to the igniter.
