Try this - In regards to the question about getting rid of contacts on the emergency dialer. If you're on the emergency dialer from the lock screen press your settings button and then click on remove. A little checkbox will pop up on the right-hand side of the contact's image/profile allowing you to remove any selected profile from your emergency list. You can also see if the ICE contact in your contacts is able to be edited and change is to a different number like your own.
Try turning off phone and removing battery for 20 minutes. If after that, it does not come off emergency calls only, contact your cell service provider. They can help.
When you say "Emergency Screen", do you mean the dialer that you can access when your phone is behind the lockscreen? In that case, press the back button to exit. If you're restarting your device and are only able to make emergency calls, your SIM/RUIM card may be dislodged. Power down your device, remove it, and re-insert it before powering on again.
Hi Try removing the Simcard and re-inserting it again. Try another Simcard on the same phone and see what happens. Could be your Simcard's been blocked.
I was having this problem and then realized I had entered my wife's cell number as an emergency number. When I removed it as an emergency number missed calls from her showed up.
