Remote code trying to program my xbox 360 remote to my tv so I can use the input button

The good news is that the red cable is one of the audio channels. Your tv is mono and will work fine without the red cable. You need to hit the input button on your remote or your tv. You can also try hitting the channel down button. Once you get past channel 2 or 3, it should go to the inputs. I hope this helps.

0522 is the code for the xbox on your remote.

This TV has composite and S-video inputs (limiting you to SD outputs from the XBOX). Since the XBOX 360 only has an HDMI output, you will need the XBOX to composite AV cable. (There is also an XBOX to S-video cable.) This adapter is sold separately from the XBOX. Buy.com has the composite video cable for $8 plus shipping here: http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=222079854&sellerid=18395415 . It will be more expensive at any retail electronics store.

The manual for the Emerson EWF2004 is available from Funai, which built the TV for the Emerson line, http://www.funai-corp.com/support/manuals.aspx . Note: you need the original remote or a universal remote that has a Source or Input button (with the correct code) to change inputs. There is no Input button on the TV.

Find the button said inputs in ur remote control,press that button,will see inputs like 1,2,3.Ur Xbox 360 video/audio should be in one of those inputs.

You have to use your original Tv remote. You cannot use the XBOX 360 remote. thats for the 360..If you have lost your original tv remote.. by a new one.

hey christy, to turn the tv on first push the desired device button like tv from the options tv,vcr,dvd etc. and then press the power button on..!!

I asume your game systems and dvd player are hooked up via the rca inputs.So all you would need to do is purchase a universal remote,program it for your tvand press ch00 which should be the video input.make sure your dvd or game system is on so you know if you are on the right channel

The codes I found that Sampo uses are 506, 519, and 698.

I have a logitech harmony remote, and I use it with my xbox 360 as well. My remote had an automatic searching system for my TV. Where I just alternated between pressing the TV OFF button and another programming button until the tv turned off, that's when it acquired the code. Your remote might have a similar function. Just a hint.

I have the Xbox 360 remote... It works! ^_^ its $19.99 at best buy. When you programming it just hold down the TV and ok button. The number lights are going to stay on... put in 0445 the push the channel button up and down the TV will turn turn off/on. Then push the input button and you’re done. Hope this help.
