Since the audio is still working, the main power supply probably
wasn't at fault and you may be looking at more research and
possibly
more expense.
The problem is very likely on the largest board or with a failing
circuit that is part of the display.
You may be able to isolate it by using 'freeze spray' which you can
buy anywhere electronic parts are sold.
I suggest more than one can of it; ~ $7-8/can.
You will need to have the guts exposed and the set turned on.
Look around the edge of the display itself for chips (ICs) and give
any you see one brief shot of the spray, wait for ~1 minute for it
to
'soak' and then move on to the next one.
If the video comes back, even if only briefly, repeat the cool-down
until you are confident to have found the right one.
If you can isolate it, you still have a problem.
If the sick IC appears to be 'glued' (with solder) onto instead of
through the board, you may not be able to replace it successfully.
If you can see that it has pins going through the board, these can
be
replaced by anyone with a professional soldering tool and a steady
hand.
Remember, the problem can be on a board that is only connected to
the
display panel but if on the panel itself, you may not be able to buy
a
replacement for less money than a new set would cost.
send a email to [email protected] include your model number and what board your needing. I am pretty sure they either have one available or they can get one quickly.
