    Hi there,
I got one of these turntables last year and am just now getting around to using it. Only trouble is I can't find the serial number to start up the software. Where did you find in on yours?
    Thanks,
    Lauren

Drivers are not necessary. Connect the TTUSB to a USB port on the computer (not on a hub or in the front panel) and the device will install as "USB Audio Device" From there, you can use Audacity (freeware from Sourceforge) or the Mixmeister EZ Vinyl Converter software they ship with the unit to record.
Here are direct links to the software and documentation:
EZ Vinyl Converter (PC)
EZ Vinyl Converter (Mac)
Audacity Software Guide

EZ Vinyl is pretty much get-up-and-go. The guide I have is basically "start it up, hit "record"

Note: when you hook up the TTUSB, it will become the default output device. You will need to go into the sound options in XP and Vista to change the default output device to your usual audio devices.

Had terrible problem finding the solution then started 'fiddling' with the head to ensure the 'needle' was fitted corr!ectly. I tightened up the small silver 'collet' behind the head and it started working perfectly

Does anyone know a download so i can get my discover dj computer system to work because i dont got a diskf or it i bought the machine off my buddy

It apparently works with USB and requires no further downloads to get it to work.

There IS however a software CD that should've came with it; hopefully your friend gave you that CD too. That CD (according to their video on ION's home site found here, inserting that software disc into the computer is one of the steps to getting the DJ turntable system to work.

I am only getting one channel when recording from Numark Ion Usb turntable, using Audacity software. The software is configured for stereo, but left track is not recording (and no sound from speaker...

Set your Audacity software to STEREO MIX on the main window. Go into EDIT, Preferences and set the recording device to your sound card and the channels to 2 stereo.

I purchased a Vibe Sound 3 Speed Turntable w/USB to PC and it does not have sound when I plug it in to the USB. The record is spining and I can hear sound from the needle.

The turntable won't make sound on its own when connected to the USB port. There are probably some drivers on the CD packed with the table that you'll need to install, and then you'll need to select the device in the Windows sound control panel. You'll also need some software to record and edit your vinyl if you want to transfer your records to CD.

I'm not familiar with the brand of turntable you have, just the ION, but it probably came bundled with some application on a CD. The ION table comes with Audacity, as well as some trial versions of audio processing (click and pop filter, hiss remover, etc.). Audacity is free, open-source software you can download here if you want it. It allows you to listen to and record your vinyl audio as wave files, then edit it, split tracks, add effects, and other fun things.

Will the Ion Turntable work with Windows 7? I only see XP and Vista listed in the manual.

If your ION turntable is a USB basedwith a USB plug it will work. Just plaug it into your USB posrt. A driver may need to be downloaded from the ION website for windows 7
