E10/EFO error code is an indication of a slow fill, took to long to fill, no fill or the fill water could be siphoning out the drain hose as it's filling with water.
Check to make sure that the drain hose is not stuck too far down the stand pipe and causing the water to siphon out. Check the cold and hot water supply to the washer for any restrictions. If you have a slow fill remove the hoses from the washer and check for restricted filter screens in the water inlet valve. Check for any restricted hose screens too.
Hi, If your washer displaysEFOit means that you are not using HE detergent. You must have used too much detergent on a particular load. You have to use He detergents to fix this issue or else not using it will ruin your washer because regular soap makes too much suds. Thank you!
EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.
1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out. 2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.
Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle. You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.
Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

Drain Filter is Clogged. Resolution => Click lint filter for soap buildup or other debris. Check drain hose.
Oversudsing - A high efficiency detergent was not used. Too much detergent was added. Resolution => Use only a high efficiency detergent. Follow manufacturer's recommendation for dosage. Amount may need to be adjusted for water temperature, water hardness, load size and soil level.
Hot water doesn't enter washer - Hot water hose is connected to the wrong faucet. Hot water faucet is not turned on. Resolution => Connect hot water hose to hot water faucet and hot inlet on washer. Be sure hot water faucet is fully opened. Check water heater.

It cud b coz of a plugged up drain hose..check that...& After that..unplug the machine for 5mins and plug it back again..if the message occurs when u r doing a load on the 'bulky' setting (blankets and the like). use t normal settings.
Another important aspect that u must observe is that it cud b becoz of unavailability of hot water..plz check that too
It is simple. The wrong soap or too much soap will caused EFO to flash. I overfilled the machine with soap by accident. It started flashing with EFO and I went nuts. What could be wrong with it now?! Too much soap or not the right kind of soap will cause this problem.
Plus, I found a sheet of paper that gives the codes.
This is better than when the strainer plug gets filled up and you have to take the machine apart to clean the little strainer.
