SOURCE: nikon coolpix s1 dig camera ,no picture

With the power off, hold the camera in your palm and smack the front of the camera on your leg or arm. You might have to smack it a few time to get it to work. It has to do with the camera CDD lense (shuttle) being stuck. By smacking it around, it will free up the lense. Being extra gentle with it though. It worked for me. Hope this help.

SOURCE: Nikon D40

Hey climiocid,
If what you mean is your images don't display on the LCD screen after you take the picture your image review option has most likely been turned off. If your camera just never displays any images I would try doing a hard reset on the camera by shutting off the camera and opening the connecter cover and pressing the reset button which should reset the camera to factory specifications. When resetting the camera this way remember this resets the cameras' clock. If none of this works I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. You can find an authorized service center by contacting the manufacturer, or you can always bring your camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

SOURCE: my nikon d80 f number keep blinking. what should

The "fEE" error indicates that the camera is not communicating with the lens. The lens may not be attached to the camera properly, or if it has an aperture ring, it may not be set to f22 (or the highest aperture number of the lens) - which is normally marked in orange. Select this aperture and lock it using the aperture locking switch to prevent this from occuring again.

SOURCE: My Nikon D40 doesn't focus not take pics

If it's under warranty, use the warranty. It takes my D40x about a half second to focus at most. I keep my camera in a dust proof case when not in use. I've had it for 2 years, it still works fine.

Is the card cheap? Is the card a class 2 or lower? Is the card full of pictures that you should have downloaded a long time ago? Are your batteries almost depleted? These are things that will slow down a camera.

Nikon d3100 taking blank images

The problem could be the imaging sensor in the lens housing, this will require a camera technician to find the extent of repair that is needed.

The screen is blank and doesn't work. I take a picture and get a flash but the screen is black and doesn't show anything at all.

Known sensor problem.
Nikon USA have a recall - see their website
Nikon Europe tell you how to claim - see their website.
Nikon UK fixed mine after quoting the Europe data by e-mail.
Whichever, it goes back to Nikon to be fixed

I just bought a d60 and the monitor does not display anything other than a blank screen or the shooting info--never the monitor view. what switch am have I clcked or missed?

I assume it will also display the menu when you press the menu button?

The D60 does not have a Live View capability. You have to use the viewfinder just as SLR uses have been doing for half a century.

2 rolls out of a 3-pack ruined.

I would suggest you buy an off-brand roll of 12 or 24 exposures. Run it through the camera taking snaps of anything -- but make sure you vary the lighting, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc. as you snap the pics. Don't worry too much about composition. This roll is a quick test, NOT for photos to keep.

Have the film developed and then follow-up with comments on the results. I'll gladly assist you further at that time.

Screen will not work

Screen going blank is one of three things - Screen backlight failed
In which case you would see dim 'shadow images'
A simple connector failure- where by massaging the camera near the base the the case 'May' get it back in.
A Mainboard failure.

! & £ offer no repair solution
You may get lucky with 2.
