How to reprograme miele G646 turbothermic plus

Hi - if i rember correctly on the sides front top panel is a plastic bung, pop this off and you would see the screws inside - oly problem is most of the later Mieles have torqx screws - anyway if you succeed the gently lift front & push backwards - the top will come off.

But the best ways is to empty the washer of water pull it away from the cabinets disconnect everything.

Lie the silly thing on its back on the bottom will be 4 screws normally this will drop the bottom panels & makes it easier for you to work on the machine.

According to the parts manual this would have a waterproof inlet valve system - typical design for Mieles.

JUST BE CAREFUL - Mieles are excellent machines, try not to damage other components - perhaps the leaks is coming from some other - Miele parts are as costly as the purchase prices.

When this happens with my dishwasher it usually means that the drain is clogged with food/debris.  To fix 1) remove bottom dish rack from machine 2) using a small cup, scoop out as much water as possible 3) remove inlet drain cover and unsnap the plastic insert and remove 4) rinse the plastic part and reinstall 5) start machine 6) if light still flashes, repeat steps 3 4 and 5 and restart

My O/H found a considerable amount of gunge in the inlet pipe; that seems to have solved it! Thanks for your interest.

Check the bottom tray of the unit. If water is there and the float switch is activated the drain will run and nothing else. Get rid of the water so the float switch goes off and you should be back in business. If it happens again you may have a leak somewhere and should get it looked at.

you need to remove the front of the door.there is a small pipe from the dryer fan to the top of the detergent dispenser. tis usualy gets blocked at the fan end. also the spout from the fan. this happens if you dont rinse loose food of the items you put in the dishwasher.
