Westinghouse dish washer brand new leaves dishes wet why

Hello Larry Franke,

Over the last 12 yeas (I've noticed)...
Dryer elements have been becoming pass?...
in the name of economy...

Just like those piddle stream shower heads...
Takes twice the water and 4 times as long if you
are actually dirty when you shower... (real SMART).

I became vaguely aware when our (very) old washer
finally rusted completely through...
and had to do SOME SERIOUS HUNTING to find a DRIER EQUIPPED with a drier.

Check with your RETAILER... They are FULLY AWARE
of the VERY COMMON disappointment/surprise suffered
by BUYERS of these NEW & IMPROVED versions.

They might even be reputable enough to offer
an UPGRADE ...

EXTRA CHARGES... will no doubt apply.

Sorry... (just another gotcha!)

The suction cups on my oil rubbed bronze soap dish are no longer tight enough to sick to the wall of my shower. it's been fine for over two years until now. can you buy new suction pieces or do i have...

Sometimes this happens when the suction cups are somewhat dirty.
Wet the suction cups, leave for some time, and wipe with a clean cloth until the suction side is shiny. If it is not shiny at places that suggest those places are not cleaned thoroughly. Wet again and wipe again until you get a shiny surface.
Check the wall where it was attached. If you see any patches wet the area and wipe with a clean cloth.
You can apply just a tad bit of oil (I use coconut oil) to the suction cups.

Try this - and let us know the results.
Thanks for using FixYa!

My new Kenmore Elite panel ready dishwasher leaves wet

You need only enough space so the door does not rub when opened. If the unit is too far back under the cabinet the countertop (if wood) can be damaged by the exhausting moisture. The dry feature on the newer models is just as you describe. The moisture from the hotter dishes evaporates and is condensed on the cooler walls and door of the wash tub. Dry dishes wet tub is normal.

Kenmore dishwasher is not washing properly and leaving dirty water in the bottom when it is finished, Can i fix it?

yes you can, what you want to do is right after you read my solution... rate it. :D but anyways wht you have to do is take out the filter underneath the bottom tray where the dishes go. and clean out all that yummy wet gross food from last week. it'll be all gunked up. that's stopping the dirty water from draining.

Dishes come out dirty and wet

The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.

No hot water, plates cold and dirty and wet

If you've installed it recently make sure the hot water tap was plumbed in and not the cold water tap, check the hot water tap temp in the house to make sure it's getting warm, there also should be a heating element located inside of the dishwaher that heats up to help the dishes dry at the end of the wash cycle, which is controled by a thermostat. If the heating element or the thermostat are bad your dishes won't dry.

Dishes come ot just like I put them in

Check that both spray bars are turning. They can both be easily removed.

Once removed, make sure they are not clogged with stuff to prevent them from turning.

I assume you can hear water spraying around inside when it's washing, and that the dishes do get wet, and water does get hot.

Soap dispenser requires water hitting on it to open.

Doesnt dry dishes, top rack not clean, has been serviced 3 times

If you have checked everything that was mentioned (and none of them are the issue) then either the heater inside the unit is not coming on during the wash and rinse cycles and/or the fan motor inside the door is not coming on during the dry cycle. A technician can easily check this out with the correct tools and by putting the unit into test mode.

As for the top rack dishes being dirty and there being soap left in the dispenser, this sounds like wash motor is either weak or the vario motor is not switching between the upper and lower spray nozzles. The sump assembly should be replaced for this issue.
