you need to contact charter for support on their remote and how to reprogram it for your new tv. for most universal remotes there is setup key or you have use a key combo to press to enter into setup mode and a user's for the cable box may have this info. however, if you do not have or did not get a user's guide then you need to contact your charter cable company for the info needed to get the 2 devices working together. refer to cable co. tech support.

Charter remote will not change channels--I have put in tv code but still nothing--noting on the remote will work except to power the tv on

You will need to program it to your cable box to change channels. Remember, the channels in your tv are coming from your box, so if the remote can't control the box, you won't be able to change channels. Call charter for help on programming remote to cable box.

Just received a new moxi remote because i was having trouble with my old one. My moxi box is a silver motorola box that says broadband media center. my old remote says charter digital on the bottom and...

Do you know what model MOXI box you have? The new remotes weren't programmed to the MOXI 3012 box. If you have the Moxi MP12, BMC9012, BMC 9012F, BMC 9022 you will need to program the remote to the box.

1. Turn on the Moxi STB.
2. Press and hold the MOXI and OK buttons on the remote until the red LED at the top of the remote blinks twice.
3. After the red LED has blinked twice, release both buttons.
4. Using the numeric buttons on the remote, slowly enter 0, 0, 4. The correct entry of this code will cause the red LED to blink twice.
5. The remote is now programmed to operate the Moxi STB listed above. Go to “Programming the TV”.

Need Philips Universal Remote Codes for a Sanyo TV

Hi Pamr

Try the Phillips website >HERE< which links to their Universal Remote support centre. Unfortunately you haven't given the details of your actual remote but you should be able to find it and download a manual or email them direct.

Sanyo TVs use all these codes:
0506, 0311, 0612, 0002,
0428, 0802, 0412, 0619,
0208, 0157, 0292, 0036,
0011, 0370, 0072, 0216,
0217, 0104, 0045, 0009,
0163, 0037,

Sorry there are so many, but one should work.

Best wishes...
