What do i do when i plug tv in it blows trip switch?

you have a short in the unit need a meter to test and check or send out for repair

First you must isolate the problem. remove the rear service cover(unit unplugged) disconnect the wire plug to the compressor. replug the fridge. If the circuit doesn't trip ,then the compressor or relay is defective.

fuse in plug often blows. but delhonghi are weird. i've got one that trips unless i put an rcd plug between it and the wall socket to stop it tripping. is yours tripping off straight away or just not coming on at all? listen for a cvlick as soon as u switch on. try another wall socket. check fuse

Pull the TV plug out of the electrical outlet. In fact, pull all plugs from all nearby receptacles. Try the circuit breaker. If it still trips, pull more plugs from the receptacles untill the circuit breaker no longer trips. Reverse the process to isolate the plug that is causing the circuit breaker to trip. Repair broken item.

If there is a short circuit inside the TV, the fuse should normally blow first before tripping your breaker. The only exception is if you have a short in the ac cord or the line filter of the TV set. Have you tried the tv on another circuit to see if it trips that breaker? If not, it could be that your first circuit is close to an overload and the TV is simply pushing the circuit "over the edge".

The only fuse is in the plug if this blow then it might trip the CB out

BOUGHT A NEW TV AND BINNED THE OTHER ONE

get a new tv

it will be one of these on the power board these will blow if they get over loaded and short out the power line in turn tripping the electric.
this will be on the mains side of the power board. can be one of these types in the photo. but it can also men something else has blown on the 5 volt side of the board.

Sounds like the power surge may have blown the fuse in the TV. You can replace the fuse and see if that works. If not, more damage to the power supply unit may have occurred.
