Casio Z80 card locked

I've never fiddled with this brand of camera, but there will be the option to lock the pictures in the menu. In your manual, look for "memory", "locking your pictures", things like that. Also, some memory cards have a plastic tab that slides to lock the card- make sure that isn't in the lock position, if your card has one. Good luck, and hope this helps.

Remove the card and switch the small grey knob on the side of the memory card to the opposite position. This will solve your problem.

Hello. If you look at the edge of your card you will see a small slide button ,make sure it's moved to unlock.

the SD card should have a small switch on the upper left side it slides from lock to unlock if this doesnt work Look in the card slot - there may be a small bit of plastic sticking out over where the card's locking switch would fit when the card's inserted.

its or child lock ,check manual or firmware damage ....software in the camera check how to fix in manual..

Is it possible for you to use some tweezers and adjust the very small lever inside the camera's card bay? It may be stuck thus telling the camera the card is locked.

I would reset your camera to the factory settings to fix your settings being locked.

If you can't delete pictures on your camera or your card, you need to make sure Protect is not set to on. You can find that on page 90 of your manual.

I have exactly the same problem with my camera, admittedly it did get dropped on the floor. There is no other damage to it but now cannot use it as the camera says the card is locked.....I have tried a new sim card and also locking and unlocking the card but this does not work either.

Any ideas would be gratefully recieved as the camera is only two weeks old!
