Are you asking where one can locate the tag with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on a New Holland brand Boomer?

If so it should be in several locations on the tractor:
- Under the hood
- On the engine
- On the frame, probably on the left hand side near the front (see the attached image)
- Within the cab, probably on the dash board (like where one would find a tag with the VIN for an automobile)

you may have to remove the extra arm from the pivot to allow the main arm to lift out of the way.

Might have locking mechanism on splines need to pull out to permit removal usually has a little tang to pry

There should be a nut at the base. The black plastic is a cap. It should pop up and you should see the nut.
