SOURCE: picture has suddenly become dark and greenish

Is tv plasma or lcd (how old). it may be the screen or pannel has lost its efficiency. A bit like old tv's tube going. You did the correct thing by adjusting controls but this sounds like a workshop job

Why does my pioneer Pdp-r06xe keeps changing input automatically

Maybe problems with I.R. receiver. Are you near a well lit window? Try covering sensor with black tape to block light.

Where do I buy IR Sensor for Pioneer plasma TV PDP-4214. I don't have part number and I live in Alhambra, outside of Los Angeles.

You will only be able to buy the entire board from Pioneer in Long Beach, if it's still available. If not, I may be able to repair the board to the component level. If you need a repair, please contact me through my website at audioserviceclinic.com. I used to work for Pioneer,

Vizio m470sv remote stopped working, bought a vizio replacement remote...still no good????

What you are dealing with is not a bad remote controller, the problem is from your IR Sensor. You will need to replace this IR Sensor. You Vizio TV has a common defect with the IR Sensor. Make sure you order the revised version so you don't encounter this problem again. You can find the IR Sensor here: 3637 0022 0189 0171 1671 0892 Vizio IR Sensor

My remote will not perform any functions with the Plasma TV. No Volume, Channel, Input, TV (off/on) etc.

If you have fresh batteries in your remote and its still not working, then try another remote and if you can't get another remote to work with the TV then you know its not a remote problem and its more then likely a problem with the IR sensor in the Plasma TV.

If thats your case after doing your troubleshooting then see if your Pioneer Plasma tv is under warranty, if it is contact Pioneer to get the TV covered under warranty. If its not then you would need to contact Pioneer to get the part # for the IR sensor on the plasma tv.

Then depending on price you can buy it from them or do a search on google to find the best price for the IR Sensor.

'buttons & ir lock' display for a PDP-50MXE20

Ms Darlene
All televisions need remote controls and they are readily available for about $20. Without a remote you can only do the most basic changes.

make model replacement remote

There have been issues yesterday and today with wifi enabled televisions suddenly quitting. Try this

Turn off the television.
Remove the network cable.
Reboot the router and wait 15 minutes.
Turn on the television.
Plug in the network cable.
Set up WiFi, (but you may need a remote).

EVERYONE needs a remote!
