SOURCE: power issues. turns on than cycles off and on till you turn back off.

Sounds like something is shorted. Don't keep trying to turn it on it will most likely either ruin the Power supply or something else. Have someone qualified look at it. Good luck. Jay

DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY REPAIRS, CALL THE FACTORY PHONE NUMBER IN THE OWNERS MANUAL AND FIND OUT WHERE TO HAVE THE TV SERVICED, IF YOU ATTEMPT ANY REPAIRS THEY WILL VOID THE FACTORY WARRANTY. THIS IS CAUSED BY AN ELECTRICAL FAULT INSIDE THE TV, IT SHUTS DOWN AS A SAFETY FEATURE TO AVOID ANY FURTHER DAMAGE.

My Samsung cycles off and on continuously every few seconds, any help is appreciated.

Tony, Reset your TV, and disable all power saving options. Do you use Anynet+? It's Samsung's HDMI-CEC feature, which can sometimes accidentally link to a different device and turn it off. this is a suggestion from a forum by Suzuki.

Samsung 46" TV goes on and off many times before getting picture

Sounds like a circuit board problem , it goes on and off several times before staying on . It stays on after it warms up and makes a full contact . i would suggest calling samsung support . or take it to a reputable service agent . You did not say if it is still under warranty .

Samsung LN46A650 that cycles on and off with no picture. The red light flashes in the lower right hand corner. Still no picture. Have to unplug power supply to turn it off.

Turn it on and let it run for about 30 seconds. If it still doesn't work... unplug it, wait 15 minutes, plug it back in, then try again. If that doesn't work, you might want to contact Samsung to see if it needs repaired or replaced.

3 horizontal lines on Samsung LN46A650 upon start up. Causes the Tivo menus and on screen graphics to refract. Goes away within a 1/2 hour but returns when powered down and restarted.

I had the power board capacitors on my Samsung 46LNA650 checked, and the out-of spec/leaking ones (13 in all) replaced. The horizontal lines disappeared; but, the left side of the panel was dark for about 20 minutes (until warmed-up). I then found this forum/link that solved the problem! This simple fix was probably all that was ever needed - IT WORKS!!!!!!

My Samsung now has a perfect picture again.

The samsung ln46a650 will click continously when triing to turn on and the red light just keeps blinking.

Most likely failed capacitors in the power supply. I am currently having the same problem with my 26 month old LN46A750. Samsung has greed to fix this as a "courtesy repair".
