2) Try to run the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting and fix it.

Compressor builds to 100 lb pressure. after a few minutes use, it comes on again to begin pressure build up. next cycle, it trips circuit breaker in house.

You didn't provide all pertinent info available to you. Lets take what we have; and, consider why your compressor is overloading the circuit breaker. Points to ponder:

  1. Not knowing the exact model (not series) I don't know what the amperage pull is for your "extreme" compressor or the circuit breaker's rating. A 25 amp compressor connected to a 25 amp breaker could be an issue. Campbell Hausfeld's support pages are crashing so I can't check the possabilites.

  2. Are you using a lightweight extension cord? The lower the rating of an extension cord the higher the amp pull on the breaker. If you eliminate the extension cord does the problem go away? Ohm's Law applies. <http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms-law-calculator>

  3. What else is on this breaker? Is there other high-amp equipment in another room (water cooler, window air-conditioner, portable electric heater, etc.) pulling from this same circuit breaker.

  4. Is the circuit breaker not performing to specification? I've seen failing breakers trip early.

First, check the owner's manual for power requirements. Next step, use no extension cord; and, insure nothing else is pulling power on that breaker. Then, use a different breaker and see if the problem follows the compressor. If all else checks out than I'd consider binding in the compressor causing the amp pull to be too high.

    Good Luck!

Pool pump turned off when turned back on popped and smoked

Ouch! Never run a pump that is leaking badly. It sounds like the seal or the housing gasket didn't set right when the motor was changed out.
The short story is you need to replace the motor again. The thermal overload and the breaker kept your house from catching on fire. Get qualified help to install next time. People consistently underestimate the amount of damage that pool equipment can cause when not done correctly. Better luck with the next one!

I have proform 730 and I can't get the power to turn on.

Dear Sir:

1( You have to use some VOM for to measure voltage, continuity.
1a( Test the outlet wall with some bulb
2a( Reset the c. breaker from your house.
2( Test the power cord , for loose cable, or broken cable.
3( Test the power switch, if is open or short.
4( Reset the c. breaker in your machine.
5( If the machine is Not working maybe you have the power supplies, or fuse or main motor board faulty. Test it.

See my personal TIPS for HELP.

sincerely. God bless you.

My SM11 model Steamist was installed above our shower/steam room. It is 2 years old. While in use recently, it made a loud sound like a low-pitch popping sound or low boom. Imagine somebody inside a...

The heating elements had burned up in the unit therefor creating a dead short on that circuit. Main breakers on homes and buildings are VERY sensitive and will sometimes trip before the smaller branch cicuit breakers will . So the popping you heard was the heating elements breaking down inside the unit it can be some what noisy.

Hitachi RAS09UH randomly pops 15A circuit breaker

Two things that you could check: 1) If you have access to an ampmeter, determine if the unit is drawing over over 14 or 15 amps, 2) replace the suspect circuit breaker in case it is beginning to go bad. Breakers only trip for overcurrent conditions or failure of the breaker itself. If it is pulling close to 15 amps, then it could heat up over time and trip.

Blown breaker

It sound like all of those go through your bathroom GFCI. I would recommend moving your outdoor circuit breaker indoors if possible or enclosing it to make it water-proof. You may also do some rewiring from your main breaker box ( if you are handy) to eliminate the outdoor box completely considering you have 100 amp / 200 amp breaker box inside your house. If you still have an old FUSE BOX with 60 amp service, I would recommend replacing it with a 100 amp or 200 amp breaker box depending on the size of your house. I would separate the laundry room by itself with 12/2 gauge wire with ground on a 20 amp breaker. You can then take your bathroom (using 12/2 gauge wire with ground keeping your gfci ) and run it to another breaker in the house with a 20 amp breaker or add a new one if there is room in your main box. Now all you have left is the porch light. You can run that separate from everything to your main breaker box using 14/2 gauge with ground to a breaker in your main box by adding a new 15 amp breaker or adding it to another 15 amp breaker that does not have a very high load such as a bedroom. In general Kitchens, Bathrooms, Laundry rooms should be on there own separate 20 amp breakers. Most every other room can be 14/2 with ground on a 15 amp breaker... hope this helps....Joe
