Memory Upgrade for Dell Color Laser Printer
3100cn Printers, the Dell Color Laser Printer 3100cn Printers takes the
PC133 SDRAM SODIMMs Memory Type, and comes installed with 64 MB
(non-removable) of Memory. You can upgrade your Dell Color Laser
Printer 3100cn Printers to up to a maximum of 576 MB Memory, the system
has 1 socket to install Memory, already with 64 MB (non-removable)
standard Memory installed.
All color printers have a calibration mode.Essentially it makes sure that everything starts and stops at the same time.It should be accessible on the contol panel
There is a chip in each toner cartridge which tells the main machine something about how full it is. It may be that it tells it how full it is, or it may be that it tells it how many pages it has done. It sounds as if the new black cartridge has a duff chip, and is telling the main machine that it is empty. To test this, you can overide the message. 1. press on the menu button; 2. select configure; 3. select maintenance; 4. select non-dell toner; 5. set the value to on.
