Why is Amazon not recognizing my password ?

If you want to reset the echo device password, you may need to change the password of the amazon account you used to make purchases from the amazon e-commerce site. Reset it by clicking on the forgot password button on the amazon site then follow the instructions.

Where you sign in there is a "forgot your password" link, click on that and follow the instructions!

Is it possible that your password was reset or changed? A good test is to try and sign online with a computer and check that the information you have is correct. If not you can recover your user name and password by clicking "I forgot" button below the sign in form.

You should never post passwords. Go to amazon.com, click on [sign in] and click on the link that says

Forgot your password?

Then fill in your email address that you used when you signed up with amazon, and type in the characters you see on the image, in this example it\'s EHM6BJ



Then click on the yellow [Continue (\'>)) button.

Go to the Amazon website and use their HELP button to call their Customer Service people.
You need to sign in using your normal email and password you use every day to sign into your Amazon account.
