Hi, Geoff here. I have a designjet 130 which suffered a paper jam where the print head station moves. I opened the cover and removed the paper. On start up everything is still normal until the part where the printhead station moves to the left. The station doesn't stop and there is a horrible grinding of gears. What is likely to be wrong?

I had a paper jam from a label coming off while it was printing. I was able to
clear the lable out by taking the pack panel off. Now the printer makes all the noises it should, but doesn't pull any paper threw. Help

Hi Good day!! try this turn off the printer pull out the power cord and usb cable, check the pathway of the print head maybe there is something the block in your printer that may cause your print head to not move perfectly. if all clean move the print head to the center, now re plug the power cord and turn back on your printer, reply if still the same.

Try removing the screws from the back door on the Ink Supply Station (sometimes they catch on the carriage - the printer does not need the screws) Look under the carriage belt to see if there are rubber bits. The belt may be disintegrating and need replacing. Parts available here: http://www.lpscomputer.com/c-736-designjet-1050c-belt.aspx
