The master cylinder her has two piston in it separated by a plunger /pin that kicks in when fluid pressure is lost to one section. It will be necessary to remove this pin so that both pistons can work again. Sometimes this pin is a plunger of a brake switch that lights up the dash when there is a line failure. Check out a workshop manual as to how it works and the procedure to reset the pin.

Can't get the back brakes to bleed on a 1993 Cadillac Eldorado

they make a tool that keeps the brake proportioning valve open for bleeding them a safety feature to stop fluid in case a line breaks. but a reverse bleed can be done take a 2 ounce syringe fill with brake fluid and open bleeder screw and force fluid back to master cylinder and have someone watch to see air is coming out possibly 2 shootings per side should work.

Brake bleeding

? need to know how ? or there is brake fluid coming from the vehicles brakes ? Brake bleeding is easier to accomplish with two people. Have one person pump the brakes until there is a back pressure felt at the pedal and then have them hold pressure on the pedal. Have person number two go under the vehicle directly inside the tire where the brake line runs and "crack" the line by using a wrench to loosen it. Air will come out and once brake fluid starts to come out go ahead and tighten it back up. Repeat for all four brake lines.
