On the base of the machine , and on the top, there should be holes that look they should be screw holes. Those are where you oil your machine.

DO NOT ever put any oil in the holes on the top of that machine! That machine has sintered bearings, you do not oil it anywhere. Oiling that machine will cause grit to collect on the shafts and seize up the machine, or allow the fine grit to grind against the moving parts and wear them out very quickly. Brother would have mentioned it in the instruction book if it required oil.
