The ringer icon keeps appearing on my iPad - Apple iPhone (16 GB) Smartphone

1)Open skype
2)On right side tap skype contact, all contact icon appear
3)Touch and hold the icon you want to delete until a X appears at the left upper corner of icon.
4)Tap the X to delete the icon. Then tap the cancel button at the right upper corner after finish.

Hi, I think you need to do a hard restart. Press the round button on the front of your device whilst also pressing the on/off switch at the top right hand edge. Hold both down until the apple appears. This will not harm your device.

Open the "photo" folder, and hold your finger down over one icon, and keep it down until the icon "wiggles", and an 'X' appears over the icon. Release your finger, and push the 'X' to delete. Or, push the "home" button, if you do NOT want to delete anything.

1. If you have no sound at all, even in the Music App, try rebooting the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
2. If you lost sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

3. Try cleaning the dock connector opening of the iPad with a soft brush and just a little bit of rubbing alcohol.
4. Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

Press and "hold" the icon on the iPad until it starts to "wiggle" and the 'X' will appear. Then, you can choose to delete the icon.

When you exceed your allowed pages for apps,they will still install,but app cannot be created for lack of pages.You can get more room by grouping similar apps into 1 folder to make space.You can also use search function to fill any app installed.Scroll all pages to right until keyboard appears,then type name of app,it will appear in dropdown list.

Sorry but your Ringer switch needs replacement. Take it to the apple store and see if they'll give you a replacement. If they don't there are third party iPhone Repair Services that can fix it for you. There are also free iPhone Repair guide that show you how to fix it yourself.

"An icon of the ringer with a slash through it"?....Usually that means that the ringer is OFF.If you're sure that the ringer is in fact ON , then check your profile.If it's in the Silent or Meeting profile, the ringer is switched off by default and it goes to vibrate.
