I am looking for replacement projection for a 2000 Mitsubishi vs-60607. would a vs-60705 work?

This sounds like one of the 9 volt regulators on the small signal board is going bad, supplying less than 8 volts. I have seen this is several of those sets. The IC needs to be replaced and if you do not have experience in servicing projection TV's then I suggest letting a qualified tech handle it for you.

The part you are describing is actually the red picture tube, not a lamp. The tube will come dry and you will need to disassemble the lens assembly on the old tube, drain the coolant (antifreeze), reassemble the parts and seal on the new picture tube, fill with fresh coolant, install the new tube, reconnect all wires including the dangerous high voltage lead, then realign the yoke and entire convergence circuits. This is not something that should be attempted by anyone without experience. If you try it yourself and the seal is not working perfectly, the coolant will drip down on your main boards and the set will be ruined. If you slip while lowering the new tube in the chassis there is a good chance you will crack the tube's neck, and that tube will be useless too.

I have a Mitsubishi VS-60705 and the picture flutters vertically and horizontally i need to be fixed

This is not a problem with the convergence circuitry which would
cause a 3D picture. The problem you have is in the
deflection circuitry. A repair on this would be challenging and we would most
likely need a scope. A repairman may be a good idea and the repair cost will be in the $400s
good luck and let me know if you have any further questions

My Mitsubishi Model VS-60705 did the same thing a couple of years ago...A TV repair facility replaced the Video card. Any repair facility facility that works on rear-projection TV's should be able to repair your set.
