It only spins when it wants to- it is mechanically capable of spinning (because it does sometimes) but sometimes just doesn't. if you then put it on a spin cycle it just drain pumps, doesn't spin. Sometimes it get stuck on pump/drain for hours and hours, and never gets round to spinning. The next day it will be fine.
The only thing that sometimes works is turning it off AT THE PLUG SOCKET and then turning it on, selecting a new wash (usually mini 30 or synthetic cold for time/momey's sake) and running the whole wash again.
I have the same model and problem. I suspect the problem is due to the machines sensor which detects when it is off balance. The problem is most likely to occur when doing something like a single large towel. You can see it thinking about spinning but as soon as the drum starts to wobble it slows back down again.
Any ideas on how to stop this happening (sensor replacement) would be useful.
