I assume you have the manual. I found it very difficult to follow, very poor. While "on hook" enter the number you want to call. Press "store" or "enter". Enter the name referring to the graphics chart on pages 7 & 8. It is set up for Alpha characters and it depends on which software is installed on your phone. Example: If you want the letter "A" you press the number 2 one time. If you want the number "2", you have press "2" seven times to display the number 2. Use the toggle key to move to the next letter or number you want to enter. When you have finished press "Store". It may take awhile but that's how its done. Not a very good system for the average consumer in my opinion. But that's how its done. I was unable to upload the manual. How to fix ph and hardness in my above pool

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker First of all, I would NOT recommend you use muriatic acid as some people mention, unless your pH or alkalinity are extremely high. This is highly dangerous acid, and if you put in too much, then good luck getting your pH back up again.

You need to test your water with test strips, a droplet test, or bring it into your local pool store and they can test it for you. They should tell you at least your alkalinity, pH, and chlorine levels.

You want to make sure your alkalinity is balanced BEFORE you balance your pH. Alkalinity and pH are related - if your alkalinity is not stable (stable generally means it's between 80 and 120 parts per million or ppm), then your pH will be jumping up and down.

Once your alkalinity is between 80 and 120 ppm, then work on balancing your pH. As long as your pH is between 7.2 and 7.8, it is within a good range. If your pH is 7.8 or higher, you can buy pH decreaser or pH minus at the pool store. On the back of the container, it will tell you how many grams to put in, according to how many litres in your pool. If your pH is extremely high, like at least 8.5-9, then you could consider putting in muriatic acid.

If your pH is too low, you can buy pH increaser or pH plus and put that in your pool. Again, the container will have helpful instructions on the back of it. pH increaser is basically sodium bicarbonate (aka baking soda) so if you're hard up for cash, I've heard of some people just dumping baking soda in their pool. However, pH increaser is definitely better quality so I would recommend that first.

It's really that simple. If pH is above 7.8, dump in some pH decreaser. If it's below 7.2, dump in some pH increaser. You can buy them for under 10 bucks each at many pool stores.

NEC DTU-8D wiping the directory list

If it is in the system speed dial directory you have to go one by one and type "Feature, Redial, bin # where it is stored (system 00~79, station 80~99), Feature". This should wipe each Speed Dial listing.

If it is in the voice mail unit you may want to go phone by phone and log into the box. You will need to redo the following:

Personal Greeting
Recorded Name
Spelled Name
Directory Listing
Security Code

All these options are listed in each mailbox through a series of soft keys. Let me know if you need more info.

Personal directory?

That's in a different location in the system. It sounds like you're using DID (where everyone has their own phone number). Your installer probably didn't assign names to the DID numbers, which does just what you are asking for.

We have a support package that allows us to make all the changes you need over the Internet for a flat annual fee. If you want your whole system to work properly and all changes to be made for you at a flat budget, call us at 877-236-8376.
