This is a shot in the dark, bare with me. Disconnect everything from the back of pc
except the video, mouse & keyboard. Enter your bios. Still have lag? Reset the bios by clearing the cmos jumper pg. 9 in your manual & remove the battery & check it for 3v if you can. If the lag went away by disconnecting the other devices than re-connect one device at a time with a reboot inbetween. When the lag returns you will know which device is not right. Everything applies when doing this kind of search. If you have two dimms remove one. Check for lag. Than swap memory/check. When you boot to the bios it involves the cpu, motherboard, video, memory & power supply. Your hard drive is also an issue but only at booting to OS. Did the pc encounter a unexpected shut down? Did you replace a device like a mouse or a keyboard? Here it the link for your board. ESC shows very little in regards to FAQ's. I hope something above helps you find a answer!
