Check to see if your Air Bag warning light comes on to prove out when you turn the key to the "on" position. If it does not the beeping you are hearing is an audible air bag warning indictator indicating a fault in the system.
it sounds as if the fault codes are running and the audible alarm for the air bags is operating. Have a dealer service centre check it out and if that is the case then fit the air bags . After all the bags will save a life in the event of an accident.
Same as the Ford Ranger. The Airbag Interlock for turning the Passenger side air bag off has a burned out light. You can dismantle this unit and replace the light with one from ford but it has to be soldered in place.
This is either going to be your anti theft system or your airbag system. If you have backed into anything hard or someone may have hit the truck in a parking lot it iwll be your Airbag. Your can deneergize the air bag system and if the beeping continues on next start up it is the antitheft.

5 beeps is the key
