You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.
This indicates an off hook condition of the telephone line, to test it you could disconnect the telephone cable from your wireless system base and connect to it a standard wired phone, if you have dial tone and can make and receive calls, the line is OK and the failure is at the base of your wireless telephone system, if you don't have dial tone with the stardard telephone there's a telephone network failure (the telephone wall plate, internal or external cables, etc) and this should be reported to your phone company to be fixed.
Ok, this is common for most cordless sets, all the cordless set needs to do is to be re-booted. Like a computer.
-> I want you to gather all the cordless phones that do not work, and remove the batteries.
-> Go to the base station, where the telephone cable plugs into, and I want you to unplug the power there too.
-> Now re-install the batteries for the cordless phones.
-> and now plug in your telephone base station.
This resets the phones and you should be able to get your call display back, unless your phone(s) are cooked -or- the display died.
Good Luck.
