Thank you so much for posting this. It was really helpful. Our fridge was making a lot of noise. We unplugged it for 24 hrs and vaccines the dust on the coil and cleaned all the water collected in the tray next to the fan. Now it is noise free and fridge is much cooler.

I have RS2555 in same problem.my warranty is expired and Samsung hooked me up to an technician who asked for 300.00 for labor plus parts and tax, what a rip off!!I I called my Canadian friend who's a technician and I was told to POWER OFF the RS2555 for 24 hrs.both doors MUST open and take out all drawers,he said ,it is 90% the ICE blocked the cool airflowing,so if ICE melted, all will return to normal.
It works after I did what he said.share this and hope can help some one with same problem!

I copied this suggestion from another web site. The 22e error is apparently a blockage of ice. Hope this helps.....

The red light on my fridge door and temp 22 keep on flickering on and off...

Make and Model help in such questions, but a career chef and catering manager, I can offer a few suggestion Babsy.

Plus 8'C for your fridge is a fraction high, 6'C would be better.

The Freezer set display of -18'C is perfect, but it appears you are seeing an error message of 22, because the internal thermometer is sensing -22'C which is far too cold.

Or

You have an Error 22. Google can help

make model error 22
or
make model manual
or
make model display showing 22

I think at some stage in the future you will need a service call.

My Samsung fridge is flashing 33 E, 26 E and 8 E. I've tried holding down the top left and right buttons to reset; however, nothing happens. How can I fix this?

https://removeandreplace.com/2015/08/10/samsung-refrigerator-error-codes/

A power outage will make your Samsung fridge show the errors 1E and or SE. If this is the case, simply press the power save and lighting buttons for 10 seconds and the error will clear. OR... press the fridge and freezer buttons at the same time for 10 seconds to reset the control panel and clear the error code.Dec 10, 2016 https://removeandreplace.com/2016/12/10/samsung-refrigerator-flashing-blinking-faults-reset/

SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR error code 2 C. What is this?

09/27/21

Since no one here can put a REAL answer other then to contact Samsung which are also useless, the answer is the sensor that's attached to the center shell needs to be removed and replaced, you can watch a youtube video titled "How to: Samsung RefrigeratorTemperature Sensor DA32-00011C". I too had the same error flashing (2 C) and contacted samsung and the so called tech said I was to leave the doors on fridge open for 5 minutes while the fridge was unplugged if that didn't work then it was something more serious and I would have to get an authorized samsung tech to check the fridge which was going to be $100+. I searched and found that 2C is the same as 2E, replaced that sensor and sure enough the fridge was back up and running normal again.
