I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. Using external devices: Connect a wireless keyboard or mouse to your Hitachi TV and change the input1.

Buy a universal remote: You can buy a universal remote to control your Hitachi TV and change the source.

The Hitachi 55PMA550 has the RF input on the left hand side of the center A/V input/output area, assuming the TV wasn't damaged. The AV1 input is on the right hand side.See page 48 of the manual (page 50 of the PDF); it's available here: http://www.hitachi.com.au/documents/product/55PMA550A_manual.pdf .

Note: this TV only has an analog tuner. You may need a set top box if your cable provider has upgraded to digital signals or if you are watching OTA channels.

Hi Try pulling the plug on the TV for a half hour. This may reset it.
Hope that work for you.

If no sound in all input, check the surround board. Is the audio distorted or on and off before? if so replace surround board :)
