Is it Windows 8 compatible?

Are you saying the supplied software does not install in Windows 8? Being as the camera uses SD memory card, SDHC memory card, SDXC memory card, then Windows 8 will be able to read those cards. As for which cameras are compatible with Windows 8, they all should be.

Calendar Creator is not supported for Windows 8 at this time. Even the newest version which is 12 is not supported fo Windows 8. You could try running it in compatability mode however.

Right click the Icon and select "troubleshoot compatability"

In Windows 8 you can install software in compatibility mode with previous version of Windows. Please refer to the steps given in the link below under the section "Apply a compatibility mode"

Between Win95 and Windows 8 there are several other versions Win 98, Win 2000, Win XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Try to run the CD in compatibility mode. If it does not work you will have to forgo the use of that software or run it on an old machine, or upgrade to a version compatible with Windows 8 if one such upgrade exists.

Chances are that you optical drive is not compatible with windows 8 so it does not work . But you can get a separate optical disc drive which is compatible with windows 8 and work it out.

Your Belkin might not be compatible with Windows 8. Your Belkin might need upgrade firmware in order to be compatible with Windows 8.
