Why wont my L9 to into sleep mode

Is it ''sleep'' mode or ''Hibernate'' mode? If ''Hibernate'', then that is the problem. Turn off ''hibernate.'' If it is in fact just ''sleep'' mode, check to see if it is set for ''enter password to exit sleep'' _and_ you don't have a password set up... then either create a password or set it so that it does not require a password upon exiting sleep. Also, you can always resort to resetting everything to ''default'' settings. (This will not effect any data on the phone, and you can take your time setting all the settings ''just right'').

if its the Optimus L9, this is a simple fix. you can order a charging port for your phone. order the charging port, then google Optimus L9 repair charger, or screen, they will show you how to properly open the phone. change it, and you are good to go. (if it still doesnt work, you have a faulty mother board.)

you may have over heated the battery. does the notification LED blink or anything when you attempt to turn it on?

You more than likely have a bug from a download. I have the same exact phone and have updated it as well with no problems.

You could try putting the phone into recovery mode, then resetting the firmware through iTunes. To enter recovery mode you must: 1) Open iTunes and connect your iPhone 2) Press and hold the home button and the sleep button at the same time. 3) After 10 seconds, release the sleep button but continue holding the home button After following these steps, your iPhone should now be in recovery mode and ready to be restored using iTunes. You may please keep in mind that iPhone battery may drain instead of charge if iPhone is connected to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode. If you charge the battery while syncing or using iPhone, it may take longer to charge. About not showing the charging icon, please try resetting the phone by pressing the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button both simultaneously after which the phone restarts after some time with apple logo on the screen. -- MS Ramakrishna

cant receved the sms but outgoing sms is working

1. File manager in ipcsuite
/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/PowerManagement.bundle
2. Find the file:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist
Then rename it to:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist2

3. Reboot your phone

Removing the cmos battery isn't always enough to reset the bios you may need to find the 'JBAT1' terminal on the mobo and put jumper across pins 2-3 then back to 1-2. But it may be a faulty mobo where the charger connects to the board.
