Sorry, but if you have waited all day and no connection your unit is severly damaged. Your SIIRF ( staellite chip has burned out) This is usually caused by overcharging, or connecting the DC plug when starting the engine.
hi, it is important to update your sat nav at least once a week on your pc, then it will update your devices gps quickfix. that should solve your problem ! (i hope ) :)
check the port is set to 8 not sure if your model has GPS search wher it finds the port and vbaude automativcally, if it does use it and see if that fixes it if not your battery is too low you have a damaged SIIRF chip and that is expensive to repair
I think you'll find that you can download it from tomtom home, with full technical help online & on the phone.
I dont advise COPYING it from a friend as you will get a symbol appear on the screen with a tomtom SD card with a large red cross through it, indicating that the tomtom knows its not a genuine copy.
