My Samsung BD-P1500 got stuck after a firmware upgrade.
Although my BD-P1500 can eject the discs, it stopped reading the discs a couple of months ago. I did this: take off the top casing by removing the 3 back screws and 2 side screws. You need to slide it back about an inch and then pry it up. Then plug the drive back in (being careful what you touch now). Turn it on and try giving the disc a nudge with your finger to see if it will start to spin up. Mine did, and then could play Blu-ray or DVD discs. The problem recurs between discs or turning the machine off, so I'm going to cut a hole so I can nudge it with a Q-tip or something.
