When using replacement or refill, Canon software will not detect them as new or filled with ink. Original cartridges have chips programmed with "counters" which determines how many times it could print. As long as it is printing, it is not really a problem just press the resume button.

How to read ink levels in an epson nx110

All Epson printers (well, the ink ones) have a small utility built-in called the STATUS MONITOR. If you click on the MAINTENANCE tabbed page in the Properties, you can start this just by clicking on the item. It will show the ink levels. Normally, this status monitor should start up whenever you print - with an option to show the ink levels, as they do not auto appear when printing, compared to the option shown above. Note that the monitor does NOT actually shown the real ink levels as the chips on the cartridges and the internal electronics within the printer simply work on the number of prints made - so often when showing empty - there will in fact be ink left unused inside the cartridges. For this reason alone, worth your while getting some refillable cartridges and bulk ink (normally in 100ml bottles - so you would get equivalent about 10+ refills and save lots of hard earned dosh!) but you would also need an inexpensive chip resetter. My advice is get the refillables with ink (most compatible inks are as good as - some better - than Epson's own expensive original cartridge inks) and when one cartridge shows requires replacing, you remove all the cartridges, fill them all, reset the chips and replace - that way you show all as full and on ly have one cleaning cycle - thus also saving lots of ink normally wasted when replacing one cartridge - each requiring a cleaning cycle and loss of other inks. I have no idea where in the World you live so cannot recommend a supplier - just use ebay.com or amazon.com to find suitable suppliers convenient to yourself.

Disable cartridge monitor Canon MG3150

try tthis
Press and hold the Stop/Reset button until the error clears.
If your printer doesn't have a Stop/Resume button, use the Cancel button. Hold the button - until the Alarm LED stops flashing,
or until the error message disappears. This takes 6-7 seconds.
Note: You will have to repeat the whole process with every cartridge that indicates empty (in the ink monitor).
Good Luck
Thanks

I have refilled my main black ink cartridge on my canon pixma ip 3600, my printer won't acknowledge the refilled cartridge, is there anything I can do about this?

This is because the ink cartridges has a memory chip.It monitor ink levels.Press and hold the resume button for 5 seconds. This operation releases the function for detecting the remaining ink level of the above ink.The printer shows empty cartridges but it will printing.

Red light on steady

If the ink light is on steady red, that means the black or color ink cartridge is nearly empty. Obtain a replacement black or color ink cartridge. To know which cartridge is out of ink, check the ink levels using EPSON Status Monitor 3 (Windows) or EPSON Status Monitor (Macintosh). If you just replaced the cartridges before you got the error light, that means that the replacement cartridge is not recognized by your printer. Please reseat cartridges. Then turn the printer on and off. The cartridges maybe bad also.
If the paper light is on steady red, try to reload 10-20 sheets of regular paper into your printer. When printing on CD/DVD, CD/DVD tray is not inserted in the printer. Insert the CD/DVD tray in the printer and press the paper button.Could also be that the printer has loaded more than one sheet of paper at a time. Load paper in the sheet feeder, and then press the paper button to resume printing. If the CD/DVD guide is open, close the CD/DVD guide, load paper and then press the paper button.
