The green light in front won't stop blinking. TV will not turn on. Tried the reset button, still won't power up, tried unplugging set, same problem. Is this a common problem with Mitsubishi 65" projection tv's ?. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.The green light in front won't stop blinking. TV will not turn on. The TV reset may help you. If the timer was set by accident many of these TV's that have the sleep timer have this problem. Try the factory reset initialization.
Ok, try this first. After attempting to turn on set after it shuts off push and hold the MENU and INPUT buttons at the same time on the front of the set for 10 seconds. This should acccuate the self diagnostics function in the micro and the power LED should start blinking a two sequence code. That code will narrow things down.
Try holding the menu button on the tv while turning on the tv.The other problem might be the connection to the lamp in the tv.They have a nasty habbit of coming loose ore falling out if the lamp is inserted to hard.
Mitsubishi's have an error code system (press both menu and input/device buttons on the front panel, the green light will flash a 2-digit code...(example one flash short pause two flashes=12 long pause then it will repeat four more times...error 12 is no problem found...the other codes are 21,22,23 and 24.........Good Luck.
