SOURCE: Burning dvd image using Roxio disc copier

burning dvd images using roxio really does wonders. however, when you trying burning it to your physical dvdrom, it fails. this may be due to firmware bugs or needs some fixes. have it updated to the lastest firmware update and regularly clean your vdvroms lens with a cleaning kit.

so how is it now?

Error code 0xc0aa0301

This has to do with the DVD/CD burner.
You will need to do 2 things:
- find the brand and number of your drive, goto manufacturers support site and find and download firmware update, flash the drive firmware.
- Update the chipset drivers of your motherboard. Here also: find the brand and exact number, goto support site and download and install the drivers.

you might have to burn it as an ISO image
this might be because you have not selected the option to burn a dvd movie you might have selected another option ie:burn data audio or your burning software does not support movie dvd burning

DVD LG SATA GH22NS30 can read Avi video files that were burnt (using Nero Burning ROM) on DVD-R 52X and 16X, but not on DVD-R 8X.

This isn't particularly uncommon on the hardware or software side. Some brands just don't particularly play with all formats on all speeds of media or all software and yes, sometimes it will burn but not play back. You can try to update your drivers but there's no guarantee that will work, but it's one of the few alternatives you have. If the recording speed and playback is that much of a concern, consider getting a new one from a different manufacturer.
You didn't mention what version of Nero you are using nor did you mention your Operating System is. These are important factors to consider as well. I had the full version of Nero 6 and I tried to run it on my Vista SP2 system. It didn't like it at all so now I just use the OEM version that came with burner when I bought the computer in 2009. You might want to try another burning software just to see if there's a difference.

I can not record a ISO image in my GH22N550

Try using this software, Image Burn. It works for me every time. I gave up on all others. This program will burn ISO's to ISO's, it will burn ISO's to Boot Disks, it will make files into ISO's, it does it all.

Also, just to clear up the term, when you burn a ISO you are generally trying to make a bootable disk, you are not actually burning the ISO, but expanding and burning the files onto a CD or DVD that you will use to install something on another computer.

My dvd burner dont burn every time i tried it says error i have a 2 year extended service protection

dvd burners require alot of space and memory while doing so. try this download the Imageburn software. then instead of choosing burn to disc, select burn to file. this will create a (NTSC) file folder, will have a audio and a video file in it. open image burn and choose >(create image from files and folders) seen in picture below
audioaholic_0.jpg load the folder you created earlier into this, and make whats called a disc image. once you do this then re-open the image burn and click on (write image to disc) and same as before load the disc image into the window, click burn and there should be a succesful burn!!!

this is a long way to acomplish the same result as burning straight to disc, but this way is less stressful on the system, and almost guarrantees a succesful burn every time!!

Pioneer DVD RW DVR-K17LF

You're creating Disk images on your Hard Disc Drive.

See where your CD Burning Software stores the images of the Disk and use the appropriate option to burn them onto a blank CD.
