Unplug the LG fridge and wait 20 minutes - Plug back into power - Many times the code will clear or reset. If not keep reading below... -The majority of the time it is the freezer fan causing the Er FF error code. The FF error code indicates that the freezer fan motor is defective.
I have an EP-8KTA3PRO, Code FF on the LED means "System Booting" the BIOS has passed all Post checks and control has been passed to the Operating system. It stays at FF as long as machine is on and operating system is running. I would suggest the problem is with the operating system, or possibly hard drive corruption? Do you get any error messages on the screen after the Bios checks? you say it does boot?
Never Flash the Bios unless absolutely necessary.
Just in case you get it working you may be interested to know that the manual insists 1GB is maximum memory but that is a lie, I have just installed 1.5GB (3 x 512MB) which is the true maximum. But it ONLY recognises the full 1.5GB if you populate DIMM 0,1, and 3 - leave DIMM 2 empty.
Good Luck

The FF on the board just means that the motherboard completed an attempt to boot. That's it. Very vague i know...but in every instance of the ff code the board had to be replaced. Error code 2D may indicate a video problem...ultimately we could never know what to expect with generic codes like that...As an engineer I I would go a step further and try disconnecting the hard drive to see if you get the computer to get to the BIOS which would indicate a failed drive or corrupt OS Otherwise you are probably correct in thinking you might have a video problem which is onboard and would still require a board replacement. But save yourself the trouble and get another computer which doesn't have motherboards in it from shut down companies. I'd be glad to explore your options with you. ASpecialty4You.com

When you turn on the PC, normally the boot codes start at 00 and go up to FF (ex 00, 01, 02 etc..).
1.remove the ram memory and video cards if any ..
2. check and reconnect the power suppy wires for mother board ,
3. dont worry about your operating system ...no data is lost .
4. if u have not heard any beeps while booting then ...it could be the ic chip ...reseat it properly and make sure it
is properly locked .
5. check the fan ...the chip can will over heat when the fan malfunctions ..
this should help ...based on info provided by u , provided u take atmost care while opening or reseating the mobo items
Try disconnecting all power connectors to the hard drives and CD-Rom drivesin the system. Leave only the motherboard connectors and the video card connector if there is one. Re-seat your RAM and then try. If it boots up, the power supply is being overloaded and it will not power on the PC.
Have you tested the card in another machine? If the card works in another machine, the motherboard might not be compatible with the card... If the card also does not work on the 2nd machine, then it should be a fault on the card...
If the card did work in the past, and it didn't burnt or damaged, you might get it working by cleaning it with a suitable cleaner like alcohol or spirits...
the problem it is in harddisk
is that u have ur smp (power supply)
just check the power supply & insert the cable
properly in to the slot of motherboard & check whether the display has come if it comes than boot the xp cd if problem occurs go to nearest shop of computer
