It is more then likely overheating. Check that the fan isn't blocked by hair and/or dust. Blow compressed air into the fan to clear anything that could be causing it not to function correctly. Also, make sure you can hear the fan operating while the unit is on to make sure it has not failed.

You should never leave a gaming console on the floor due to buildup of dust/hair and cause it to overheat. This also applies to leaving it in a confined space as it will not have enough air available to expel the heat it creates while running.

SOURCE: we have two games that the Wii will not play it

Maby the games is scratched. If that is not why It is something in the wii that is wrong. It could could bee the lens. Try opening it up and see if something is broken. If you don't know what your doing call a tech support organization.

SOURCE: wii will not turn on and game will not play or eject

It can be related to a number of issues and so you need to start with checking the power to the unit. Reset the unit if there is power, remove power for about 30 minutes and check again before you need to find help from the service center.

What if im playing a Wii and my Gamecube disc doesn't work? I've bought a faulty disc before, but I doubt that this is the case. What should I do?

You have a dirty laser or bad laser or bad disc. Suggest seeing if it played on a gamecube or someone elses wii. Will your system play all your other games? If so its the game disc. If your wii has troubles with other games its your wii console.

My wii remote turns off when i play a game cube game on my wii and it doesn't turn back on?

that is normal all it means is that your now using a game cube controller to operate your wii. Also, you must manually turn off your wii and reboot your wii to change games.

Selecting a game in wii play

Each Mii that you play on your Wii Play game must each go through the growing pains of passing each section first. You should be able to drudge through the games in about 3-5 minutes each. Once the games are unlocked, they stay unlocked.

Good luck!
