Every time i turn it on it says usb safe mode

Please describe the problem in more detail. Is the screen always red from the moment you turn it on? Are you connected to your TV via an HDMI cable or standard VGA? How long have you had this problem?

I suspect your VIDEO DRIVER or some APP(S) are not installed correctly?

Turn on and use safe mode

• Turn the device off.
• Press and hold the Power key.
• When Samsung Galaxy Avant appears on the screen: ...
• Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
• Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode in the bottom left corner.

Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR, System Restore, choose System Restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem", and follow instructions. Try to get hold of a bootable xp pro disk and boot from it, when finished loading the initial drivers and files onto the system gointo the 'R' option recovery console, this is a command line recovery, once there type chkdsk c:/f and press enter let it run its coarse and then restart pc.

I'd be tempted to be thinking along the lines of a software issue as well. 2 quick things to try 1st; what happens when you plug it in to a different USB port? Have you downloaded the latest version of iTunes?

Sounds like you may need your screen replaced.

Upon turning on your laptop,
Keep pressing F8, until you hear a beep. This will give you the option to boot to safe mode. When you hear a beep, and NOTHING comes on your screen within 20 seconds, you need to have your LCD screen replaced.

Typically if its a hardware problem such as RAM, you'll hear 2 beeps or a POST message will display on your screen, letting you know that a certain piece of hardware failed.

Ive seen problems occur when people change a setting such as :
Right click on your desktop --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced Button

And changing your DPI. This can cause your screen to go out (Not display anything). If its up to high chances are your LCD screen can not handle it. If you boot to safe mode, then you can fix this. Again if you cant boot to safe mode, then you have a mad LCD.

Give this a try and let me know what happens.

Oh one more things.

One thing i have also seen, more than once, and till this day i can not explain it, but a USB device plugged in. Remove ANY USB device plugged to your computer. Printer, FLASH Drive, Mouse, etc. Then turn on your computer.

If you have a floppy drive, remove the floppy.
If you have a CD/DVD in your tray, turn the computer on to take it out.

alright get it to safe mode, then go to system restore and undo the last thing you did on the computer, everything will be fine. good luck

Press F8 key and go into safe mode when u start the computer,tap it a few times until you get the safe mode screen,try choosing "Last known good configuration" and start. If this doesnt work, you can try system restore.

1. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
2. Press and hold the button while plugging the other end of the USB cable into the YP-Z5.
3. When the display shows USB Connected, release the button.
4. The device is now in USB mode.
5. When through, you must safely remove the USB device. Note: To safely remove the USB device, right click the USB icon ( ) in the bottom right of your screen, and then click Safely Remove Hardware.
   

1. Upon disconnecting the device, it will return to MTP Mode.
