Where is primer on craftsman platinum push mower

how many times have you pushed the primer button ? on the bottom there is a valve push this up and fuel should come out, try these, prime pump 10 times then press fuel release then 10 times on the primer and try then.

no it doesn't. the primer bulb is on the air filter. it will just pop off with a pair of pliers and push the new one in with a socket. fairly easy job. good luck

Does it stay running after you squirt fuel in the carb opening? If yes, then there may be a pin hole leak in the hose going from the fuel tank to the primer bulb and it is adding air to your carb.

the old primer ball is held in place with a round retaining clip remove it just use a sharp screw driver to pry it out then pull out old primer buy new primer and retaining clip put primer in the take a socket that is the same size as ring and that will slip over the primer push the ring in till it seats

Take of the hood and shine up the magneto and if that don't work the take thecarbrator of and where the primer ball is unscrew the Philips head screws and that will release the primer from the gas tank and there will be a little screan blow that out then put it all back together push the primer button 3 times the pull the cord to start the mower and it will run if that don't work then let me know if you want to get ride of it please because my hobbie is working on mowers thnks please respond back thanks hope this helps you problem

Sounds like the primer bulb dry rotted from sitting &/or the float is stuck in carb. If gas is indeed leaking from bulb. It will need to be replaced. While it is apart, clean carb inside & out with spray carb cleaner.

either the magneto or the governor is damaged check them

My toro mower starts and will run for ablut 15 minutes and starts to cut out and eventually stop running. What could be the problem
