My sunbeam mixmaster (50 Years old)model 12c 150 watts the electrical wiring at the base of the mixer where the wire comes out of the mixer is fraying is vary dangerous. Where can I go for the repairs? I live in Winnetka California. Thank you Betty

ereplacementparts or direct from Sunbeam are the best retailers of spares, but at that age, you best bet is to buy another as a parts machine from eBay.
it may be that the Solid State Speed Control has gone bad did any smoke or bad odors come out of the mixers but if you have any warranty period left then they will gladly fix it
When you open it, there is are contact points and a piece that has to touch to change the speed. It may just be slightly bent or out of place. Some food may have gotten in there.
