This is an updater for the Ask Toolbar.

You can try to uninstall the Ask toolbar. Try uninstalling it with Revo Uninstaller. Revo first uses the APN's own uninstaller. If it have the Uninstall Updates enable, then probably you have auto update enable in the PlayStore. Make sure auto update is not enable at least for that app, then go back and uninstall update. If it doesn't work,and you still want to get that app to factory setting, then you need to hard reset your device.

What type of update? An app update? A firmware update? IF it's an app update, just go to settings>apps, search for the app that you want uninstall the update and tap it, in the top right corner it says either uninstall or uninstall update. Most third party apps don't allow you to uninstall updates, Google apps let you uninstall updates. If it's a firmware update, then you need an utility in your pc to refresh the firmware that you want to downgrade to.

With app updates you can't uninstall an update unless the app is preinstalled on your device. Uninstalling will uninstall the app completely.

View update history
Open this program
you will find as follows
Review your update history
Check the Status column to ensure all important updates were successful. To remove an update, see Installed Updates.
Click on Installed update link
you will find the list of updates in this location
select the update and click on uninstall at the top

Dear Mark, You do not need to upgrade driver but you should reset your data cable even it is parallel. After pluged again you should take a reboot and then try to print again.

G to Control Panel, and click on Add/Remove Programs at the top of the screen click show Updates. You should now see Windows Internet Explorer 8 in the list. Click Change/Remove this will uninstakk it without affected any other updates or services packs

To uninstall Internet Explorer 8, go to Control Panel, and click on Uninstall Programs link or Programs and Features icon. Then on Tasks pane on the left, click on View installed updates link. Locate and select Windows Internet Explorer 8 in the list of installed updates, and then click on Uninstall button. Click on Yes when asked that are you sure want to uninstall the update.

A user can uninstall the Windows Vista update that is causing this issue. Once the update is uninstalled you will need to wait until Microsoft has released a fix for this issue. Otherwise, a Windows Vista update may cause this problem to occur again if Microsoft has not pushed a fix yet.
To uninstall the conflicting update, do the following:
1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Programs and Features
4. Choose View installed updates
5. Select "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB943302)
6. Click Uninstall
7. Restart your computer and the update should be uninstalled
