I have a rock mobile disk it was working fine but I moved my computer and when I connected the hard drive it has a red blinking light and it's no longer found in my computer what happened? how do I fix this problem?
Open the case; you'll probably find it contains an old worn-out drive. "Rock Mobile Disk" is just the brand on the case; your seller is notorious for packing used and refurbished drives into cheap, unventilated cases and selling them as "new". They overheat and die very quickly. You might contact the vendor (eBay seller, right?) if they still exist, but the best you can hope for is an equally bad replacement.
Hey guys, im not too technically savvy but thru the yrs ive realized that common sense and simply covering all holes b4 proceeding to complicated and maybe expensive measures, is a very effective way of solving computer problems sometimes. I own a rock mobile disk as well (magnetic whatever hdd inside), its done this b4, but usually after unplugging and replugging the power itd work, this time it didnt ...at all..so I CHANGED THE CASING, and now im backing my files onto another hdd. that solved everything, the hdd IS plug and play for most computers, i think the casing's psu is kinda flimsy, and gives out quick.
Try reloading the drivers, might have to run a search for the product and delete all softwere first, but just try to reload drives and go from there. If nether of these work it may be a registry error wich I can help with but lets try this first.
I didnt have to download a driver but all i get is a red light on mine i dont know how to make it go away
